Streetwise ("we", "us", "our") operates the Streetwise mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
We collect your precise location while using navigation features. This is essential to provide safe walking routes and nearby incident information. Location data is not collected when the app is closed.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and a unique user identifier. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the information you authorize those providers to share.
You may choose to enter phone numbers for emergency contacts. These are manually entered by you and we do not access your device's address book.
You may upload a profile picture from your photo library. This image is stored securely and associated with your account.
With your permission, the app uses your microphone during AI safety companion calls. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored or recorded.
We store your recent destination searches locally to provide quick access to frequently visited places.
When you report an incident, we collect the incident type and GPS coordinates. Reports are associated with your account and processed through our trust and credibility system.
We collect AI call duration data, crash reports, and performance diagnostics to improve the app experience.

Streetwise is not intended for children under the age of 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
